Job Summary:

The Logistic Team Lead is in charge of managing and ensuring overall logistical response, readiness at all times at each of the respective response centers.

The Logistic Team Leader is responsible for ensuring completion of all logistics response equipment maintenance and support, training and development of all response staff and implementation of the ‘on-call’ rotal system.The Logistic Team Leader is further responsible for coordinating the movement of response equipment from one base to another in support of a response as required


  • Provide management oversight, advise and assistance to theĀ  Logistic Specialist and other employees
  • Ensure readiness and availability of logistics equipment and spare parts to support response and other activities
  • Assurance that spill response vehicles and logistic equipment are maintained in accordance with the manufacturers recommendations, SAIL procedures and the applicable regulatory requirements
  • Preparations and issuance of reports in accordance with agreed guidelines and timing
  • Proper implementation of all HSE and other procedures within business
  • Review all HSE and operational with the Station Managers and local staff on a regular basis
  • Fulfil roles within the incident command system during response activities


  • Planning and managing logistics, warehouse, transportation
  • Directing, optimizing and coordinating full order cycle


  • 3+ years proven working experience as a Logistic Team Leader
  • Record of successful distribution and logistic management
  • Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff
  • Proficient in standard logistic software
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independantly and handle multiple projects
  • Preferable with BS in Business Administration, Logistics Supply Chain or equivalent
